Dr. Staci Smith was born and raised in Potomac, Maryland. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics. Dr. Smith pursued her professional career in dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, graduating with honors in Community Oral Health, achievement in Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and the E. Howell Smith Award in Prosthetic Dentistry.
She completed her General Practice Residency at Jacobi Medical Center, located in the Bronx, focusing on restorative dentistry, emergency dentistry, and the management of medically complex patients. Dr. Smith strives to make her patients feel comfortable and cared for in the dental chair, acknowledging the high propensity for dental anxiety in our community. She values the privilege of helping patients achieve optimum oral health and esthetic results. Dr. Smith currently lives in Manhattan and enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and reading in her spare time!
